Final video project is in the works

I'm working on my final video project for ART 119.  I'm making a 2-4 minute video about a trip I took to New York City this past weekend.  I had a great time and got some good video clips to use.  Here are a couple of them:

This one was taken in Times Square - it was at night, and I wasn't sure how it would work with my camera.  The sights and sounds in Times Square were really something . . . I'd never been there before but I'd seen it on TV (New Years Eve) . . .

This one was taken on the front steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art - I had just left the museum and it was almost dusk . . . I really like the sounds in this one.

I played around with taking video through the window of the airplane.  I took four flights in all, coming and going, so I was on the airplanes at different times of day.  I checked the list of "approved electronic devices" to make sure that it was okay to keep my camera on during takeoff and landing (watch for some nice airplane action shots in the final video).

I'm starting to edit the final project - I installed Adobe Premier Elements on my PC today.  I'm having some trouble with importing some of the video files, but I have a friend who can help me with the technical issues.  I'm anxious to get going on on the editing - I have an idea of the "story" of this, and I want to use more than one soundtrack.  Arthur suggested that I might narrate this - I will definitely try that and see how it goes.  I realized that to narrate something you sort of have to be a writer, and decide exactly what words you want to use . . . I don't think that this is one of my strengths, but I'm going to give it a shot!
